We Live in a World of Beneficial Energy
The word “Reiki” (ray-key) is Japanese for ‘universal life energy, and is a natural healing founded by Mikao Usui in the early 20th century. A non-intrusive treatment, it requires no special equipment. The practice is taught by Reiki masters in a tradition passed on in person from master to student..
We live in a world of beneficial energy that always acts to our ‘Greater Good’, enabling a sense of well being. Although variations of Reiki have been contrived, the essence of Reiki is enable the body emotionally or spiritually. It is a therapy that is “there”, so is open to any and all belief systems.
The therapy is a process that anyone can enjoy at any time, alongside other conventional or complementary treatment, and may assist emotional support during recovery. Hence the description Reiki Therapy, rather than Reiki Healing, Bognor Regis.
The method of receiving Reiki is for the recipient to remain clothed whilst lying on a couch. The practitioner gently places their hands in a series of non-intrusive positions on the body. There is no massage or manipulation. The whole person is treated rather than specific areas.
What is Reiki like?
Each person experiences Reiki differently depending on their individual needs at the time. Clients may or may not feel sensations during the session. Benefits reported by recipients include deep relaxation promoting a calm, peaceful sense of wellbeing on all levels. Some people feel sensations of heat, tingling, or experience seeing colours, whilst others can have an emotional response, indicating that shifts are taking place, allowing harmony to be restored.
Reiki can be beneficial for short term situations, yet may also support people dealing with long-standing conditions, helping to bring comfort, acceptance and a more positive outlook. Whilst a single session may be sufficient, a series of sessions may be beneficial. Generally, if you find that helpful changes are taking place, it is a good idea to continue treatment. Which is the reason some refer to our establishment as 'Reiki Healing Bognor Regis'.

In a world of transformation, you might decide to look to:
• Changing your relationship patterns
• Responding to stress differently
• Moving forward in life
• Releasing old habits and beliefs which no longer serve you
• Gaining a sense of fulfilment
• Feeling 'more yourself'
• Just ‘being’!
What happens in a session?
Metamorphic Touch, as a technique for transformation, free of the protocols many therapies require:
• There is no need for a case history
• You can sit or lie as you prefer
• Talk or remain quiet
• Have one session or a series of regular appointments
The touch is deliberately light, gentle and flowing, on the feet, hands and head - and is incredibly relaxing.
How Metamorphic Touch Works
The metamorphic touch is focused on the spinal, conception and birth reflex points of reflexology; the areas that relate to your conception, gestation, birth and early attachment. These events have a dramatic, and lasting, influence on character and behaviour.
Forming the very earliest section of our ‘Life Script’, our conception and gestation influence our beliefs and patterns in the world - experiences which echo throughout our lives. The story of our birth also makes a strong imprint on our way of being, for example someone born by emergency caesarean might always feel dragged off before they're ready to go, whilst babies with a long gestation might like to take their time with things and so on.
These deep patterns may create problems in your life, which Metamorphic Touch may clear to facilitate a deep release.
The touch allows the intelligence of your own innate life-force to flow in the appropriate direction for you. It makes for an excellent therapeutic presence:
• No annoying advice
• No simplistic tips
• No patronising "I know your patterns better than you" type of thing
Instead there is an abiding confidence that the healing will unfold in the way that's appropriate for you in your own life journey.
Who is Metamorphic Technique Good For?
The gentle, non-invasive touch means that it is appropriate for anyone who feels drawn to it. Even the most fragile - babies, pregnant women and the gravely ill can all be treated safely. It is great for people who do not want to have to talk about their traumas or personal feelings, yet who are searching for a better way of being.
There is no evidence-based research. However, you will NOT be:
• Diagnosed or given a ‘reading’
• You will not be told what to do
Due to the uniqueness of each person, the movement, or transformation, which may occur may express itself in different and sometimes very surprising ways. Furthermore, when movement occurs, it appears to support people’s capacity to be enriched by the events and experiences of their lives, rather than being a victim of these same events, so physical, mental or emotional healing may then be a natural by-product.
For some people, changes are immediately noticeable, whilst in others they are more subtle. Ranging from sensations of greater energy and confidence, to improvements in physical, mental or emotional health, and perhaps releasing old habits or letting go of past hurts. Clients may notice a growing sense of purpose and inner strength.
